Less polished romance, more body, tension, chaos, accidental gestures, raw provocation, and sexual tension.
In this wedding fashion editorial, the idea was to shift the visual language away from a classic luxury wedding and push it into something dirtier, more sensual, and loosely editorial. Less polished romance, more body, tension, chaos, accidental gestures, raw provocation, and sexual tension.
I helped with the references for the shoot and some of the key ideas. For example, the scene where the girl is lying on the floor was a reference to the iconic Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt editorial for W Magazine, photographed by Steven Klein.
I was also responsible for the company’s promotional video production around editorials: from native fashion clips designed for the website’s UX/UI and different content formats to short reels and promo films for the screens of Times Square in New York.
I was not present on set, so I built the film afterwards using footage from the videographer and UGC iPhone content by stylist Evgenia Dragun. This was one of the last shoots she curated for WedVibes, and here you can see some of the final moments captured on her iPhone.
To promote the full editorial, I decided to create a film that would communicate not just my own perspective, but the shared vision, vibe, and mood that, to me, the whole team felt.
